Kishore Shanker, based in Gurugram, is a contemporary artist and cultural organizer whose work bridges fine art, photography, and social advocacy. A graduate of the Government College of Arts, Chandigarh, he is known for paintings and photo‑graphics that explore themes of illumination, nature, and pressing social issues such as global warming, wildlife protection, and gender equality. His creative philosophy treats art as a free‑flowing expression of thought and emotion, often using rainbow colors and zodiac motifs to symbolize harmony and universal connection. Beyond his personal practice, he has exhibited nationally and internationally, including at Lalit Kala Akademi, IGNCA Delhi, and in Sweden and Stockholm, while also founding ARTinfoINDIA.COM and directing the Shanker Art Foundation to support artists and cultural events across India. Through his initiatives like ChildrenArtContest.COM, he nurtures young talent, making him both a practicing artist and a committed promoter of art education and awareness.
